Senior Year (2023-24):

Higgins displayed exceptional resilience, starting in all 32 games despite a prior season-ending knee injury. His comeback was nothing short of remarkable, scoring 27 points in his first game back against Southern Utah on Nov. 6. Notably, he showcased his talent against top-ranked teams, scoring 19 and 22 points against #21 USC and #11 Gonzaga, respectively.
Making history, Higgins tied the Division I single-game scoring record with 34 points against Long Beach State on Feb. 1. He later surpassed this record, scoring 35 points in the first game of the Big West Championships against UC Riverside on March 13, while also contributing eight assists.
Higgins concluded the season with an impressive 572 points, setting a new Division I single-season scoring record, previously held by Issiah Grayson with 543 points. Additionally, he reset the Division I single-season points per game record, averaging 17.9 points per game, surpassing Grayson’s 17.0 PPG mark.

Junior Year (2022-23):

Despite a season-ending knee injury, Higgins showcased his talent in the 13 games he played. Before his injury, he led the team in scoring with 13.0 points per game and demonstrated his versatility with 3.9 assists per game. His notable performances include tying his career-high with 23 points against UTEP and achieving career highs of 25 points and eight assists against UC Riverside.

Sophomore Year (2021-22):

Higgins contributed significantly during his sophomore year, starting in 18 out of 27 games. He averaged 9.6 points per game and led the team with 64 assists and 26 steals. His clutch performances, including a season-high 23 points against UC Davis and crucial contributions in the Big West Championship, showcased his importance to the team.

College Career Highlights:

Prior to his time at CSUB, Higgins excelled at Holmes Community College, earning accolades such as NJCAA All-American and MACCC North Player of the Year.
